Despite them being what the band is called (tools), the problem with Tool fans is that they're essentially, being pretentious douchebags. They seem to be stereotyped with them being pseudo-intellectuals who consider themselves above everyone else as they listen to Tool and deeply study and understand their 'complex' music and lyrical genius. The sort of stuff like "hurr durr polyrhythms hurrrr double meanings".

The problem with Tools is that they're being Tools. What a coincidence.

I've seen the same arguments for Justin Bieber's music and fans. Lol'd.
